A relaxed, cool Philadelphia gem. Enjoyed our cocktails and snacks, and the service was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back! If you like tiki drinks, try the Bitchin' Camaro.

What a massive improvement on the use of space over W/N W/N Coffee Bar. Poison Heart is a low-key place, not trying to be the next big thing in the city. The bartenders and staff are all great and friendly. They have a fairly limited and somewhat unique food menu, but if you're feeling peckish you should be able to find something. The atmosphere is dark in a kind of romantic way. But it's also lively in a way where romance is not the dominant vibe and can be completely forgone if you so choose. It's the type of cocktail bar where you come to relax, enjoy a couple drinks, and have some good conversations either with your friends or the people around you.

Great addition to the neighborhood! Love the inspired menu with creative items instead of the usual greasy bar fare, not that there's anything wrong with that. Oysters. Actual cocktails. Good music playlist. Chill professional service. I can see myself going just for drinks and popcorn with herbes de Provence.

One of my favorite bars I’ve been to recently, will always come back whenever I’m in Philly. Delicious cocktails and food. One of the best Guinness pours I’ve had in recent memory.

It’s harder and harder to find a good cocktail for under $20 in a big city. Poison Heart gives you excellent cocktails, great small bites, and an unpretentious environment in spades. Oysters and waffle fries hit. The Songs About Keri is a quaffable, less sweet version of a good margarita. The Goodbye Horses is a nicely acidic, bright redo on a classic Old Fashioned.

Vegetarian perspective Stumbled upon this place by accident with friends and it was my favorite spot from our little bar crawl! They had a special menu that night and all the food we got was delicious. The regular menu and special menu had vegetarian and vegan options. So yummy! Staff was always there to get us refills, were quick making our drinks and just generally welcoming.

Had a great recent Friday night cocktails experience with friends at Poison Heart. The vibes are dark and intimate, with a relaxed atmosphere. The drink menu was interesting with a good combination of drink and food options. The drinks I tried were all tasty, and the espresso martini particularly good. Highly recommend!

Had the best girls night last night at Poison Heart. My friend and I were looking for a cozy spot with good drinks and food before seeing Drama across the street. The red lighting set the tone for our fun evening and the staff was so friendly and attentive. We actually had such a good time after the show ended we ran back across the street for one last wine and late night fries. When we came back we were greeted again by Jess who had poured our first glasses of wine and found us two seats. What a great girls night at this amazing spot that is cozy, and has great vibes.

Cozy, sexy cocktail bar, dark with ample red neon accents adding to the ambience. Their version of a citywide special came with a half pint of Guinness and a “mystery shot” (which changes regularly). In this case, the shot was something like a midori-curaçao-tequila that I probably would never have willingly chosen and likely won’t ever seek out again but it went down well enough. Service was laid back and friendly. Located near Union Transfer, it’s convenient for a pre or post show drink. I’m looking forward to going back.

Poison Heart is very unique and a must visit if you’re on Spring Garden. This cocktail bar is a nice change of pace from all of the craft breweries around. Last time they were there they gave us a spicy popcorn with our drinks to munch on and it was such a unique season and spice. We also got spicy shrimp and loved it. I like the dimly lit vibe and red aesthetic in here.
